Supernova does not begin with a watch. It begins with a question — about the role a watch should play in the world as it is now.
For a house, that is an unusual place to start. Most begin with a movement, a case, a complication, and work outward toward a reason. We prefer to hold the question open a little longer, and let the object arrive as a reply rather than a premise.
The SN 2140 was never conceived as a demonstration of what is possible. First and foremost, it is a watch. Grade 5 titanium, a Swiss automatic movement, two dials, two straps — measured for the wrist, beyond conventional codes of masculine or feminine.
The watch is worn,
not operated.
What it carries — a quiet, private capability — is present for those who look for it, and invisible to everyone else. No screens. No interfaces. Nothing to charge or unlock. A bubble of privacy on the wrist, and a reminder that another way exists.
That, in the end, is the whole idea. The technology is not the entry point; the feeling is. The object holds its ground on both — a piece caught between tradition and tomorrow, and content to stay there.
